- Account Details: Name and email address.
- Google Single Sign-On (SSO) Data: When you choose to log in using Google SSO, we receive your Google account email address, full name, and profile avatar URL as authorized by your Google account settings.
- Payment Information: Processed securely by our certified payment partners (e.g. Razorpay / Stripe). We do not store raw card numbers on our servers.
- Study & Exam Performance Data: Your scores, topic breakdowns, completion history, and saved question flags from mock exams and QBank quizzes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, authenticate, and maintain your account and mock exam platform access.
- Process transactions and send related receipts and confirmations.
- Send essential technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages.
- Analyze usage trends and performance stats to continuously improve our CFA® study materials.
3. Google User Data & Limited Use Policy
Charterly’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically:
- We only request access to basic profile and email scopes required to authenticate your identity.
- We do not sell your Google account data to any third parties.
- We do not use your Google user data to serve advertisements.
- You can revoke Charterly’s access to your Google account at any time via your Google Security Permissions Page.
4. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. However, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
5. Third-Party Services
We may share necessary data with trusted vendors and service providers who carry out work on our behalf (such as secure payment processing, hosting infrastructure, and email delivery). All third parties are obligated to keep your data confidential.
